We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to help run our community store.
We have a variety of roles:
Cashiers – taking payments and operating the till;
Helping with deliveries, to unload, price the items and stock the shelves;
Ordering from suppliers;
Collecting from suppliers;
Packing products such as bird feed.
Just let us know what you would be interested in doing and how much time you have to offer. You can do as many or as few shifts as you prefer, whether that’s once a week or once a month, it can be as often as you like.
No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.
All that’s required is lots of enthusiasm, a good sense of humour, a few spare hours and the willingness to offer a warm welcome to all our customers.
